We provide treatments for:

Osteoarthritis

Repetitive strain injuries

Recreational and professional sports injuries.

Other conditions affecting soft tissue structures and joints

Respiratory and cardiac conditions

The rehabilitation of neurological conditions such as stroke

Physiotherapy includes a holistic approach to health care, this means that we don’t only treat your injury, but takes a wider view of you as an individual. This includes consideration of your lifestyle, work and leisure and how your condition can be prevented in the future. We therefore provide back and neck clinics, sports injury clinics and work stations assessments so that you have the tools to avoid recurrence and future injury.

Why choose a HCPC/CPS registered Physiotherapist?

With the recent increase in “therapy courses” there are many practitioners who do not have sufficient training to treat injuries and medical conditions adequately or safely. Any recognised medical training course lasts between three and five years and newly qualified practitioners are then encouraged to work for at least three years in a supported environment, with senior and more experienced practitioners.

The Health and Care Professions Council was established to regulate to regulate health professionals in the UK and thereby protect the public. Qualified physiotherapists must by law be registered with the HCPC to ensure their standards of conduct, treatment, performance and ethics are tightly regulated.

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy is an organisation which guarantees that its members are properly qualified to the highest standard, governed by a code of professional conduct, covered by appropriate public liability insurance and qualified for HCPC registration. All CSP members have completed a three to five year full time training course to attain their degree.
